A logical, user-friendly design for a document with big ambitions
This Council-led comprehensive local resilience action plan is the first of its kind in Australia, and will build future resilience and adaptation in these challenging times ahead.
The Ryde Resilience Plan 2030 sets out a vision, goals and strategic directions for creating local urban resilience in the city and for the community. It highlights the global and local drivers and pressures which frame the development of the resilience plan. In developing the design concept for the plan, we needed to incorporate a logical structure that would be user-friendly on such a long-form document with a large amount of content, so we employed a colour code system and iconography to visually separate chapters and types of content.
