Unearthing an extra level of agility for a miner of quality
Oz Minerals is a miner of quality. Their interests lie in long-life assets in quality jurisdictions and, importantly, the agile culture of innovation, collaboration and inclusion that they continue to refine and progress.
During our initial year collaborating with Oz Minerals for their annual report, we employed an industrial aesthetic, incorporating strong, mechanical lines to provide coherence to the material. At the same time, we incorporated on-site naturalistic photography showcasing real employees, thereby infusing the narrative of the company’s growth, accomplishments and the people propelling its success with a human element. Mid-project, the company was acquired by BHP, requiring a pivot, adding an extra level or two of difficulty and asking us to be ever more agile and alert to see the reporting process through to a satisfactory conclusion.
